Matcha Melon Toast

 
 

INGREDIENTS

35 g Sugar (2 tbs +1 tsp)

60 g Flour (1/2 cup)

3 g Matcha (1 tsp +1/2 tsp)

20 g Butter

1 Egg

Powdered sugar

PREPARATION

  1. Sift the flour and Matcha. This breaks and lightens the powders. Then Combine with sugar to create the dry ingredients mix.

  2. Melt the butter for 20-30 seconds in a microwave.

  3. Whisk the egg in a small bowl. Then add the melted butter into the egg.

  4. Add this wet ingredient mix to the dry ingredient mix. Combine them until it becomes homogeneous.

  5. Take a sliced of bread (about 2cm thick) and create a tray using aluminum foil.

  6. Spread the paste on the bread evenly. Mark the paste with the back of a knife in a checked pattern.

  7. Cook in the oven toaster for 10 minutes.
